I'm a fairly simple guy with pretty realistic expectations and hopes for life. Through a year of hell, and another year of heck, I've been ultimately blessed with what I feel is a better outlook on life than most people. I'm thankful for the little things, and realize that life is NOT that complicated, and there are VERY few things ever worth being a drama queen about - just suck it up and move on. Life is hardly ever fair, so make the most of it from what you have control over - and try to be a good person. Oh, and I've also learned that life is too short for one to need to be stupid and make their own mistakes - 'cuz other people usually make biggers ones, and you'd be a fool to repeat theirs. In the end, I don't find a lot of sympathy for people who continually bring about their own misery, but in the end (when push comes to shove), my decent-sized heart tends to shine through. I might come off as a heartless bastard from time to time, but that's only because I sometimes have the tendency to write my thoughts/feelings while I'm still upset or peeved about something. Face-to-face, I've been told by many that they've rarely met a nicer guy. In fact, I'm starting my first full-time job in January of 2006 because I made such a friendly (and work-efficient) impact on the employees where I was temping - go figure. And if any of the above was too confusing for you... I think the personality of this "diary" can be summed up by three simple I's: Intensity, Integrity, and Intelligence. ENJOY!
